Romo Looking To Stem The Tide of Home Turnovers

Of Tony Romo's 13 interceptions this season, 10 have come at home

The friendly confines of Cowboys Stadium haven’t been so friendly to Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo this year.

Going into a week eleven home game against the Cleveland Browns, Romo has thrown 13 interceptions. 10 of these have come at JerryWorld, and nine of them came from a pair of games--five in the Monday Night loss to the Chicago Bears and four in the Sunday afternoon loss to the New York Giants a couple of weeks ago.

Romo is hard pressed to explain why the lion’s share of the turnovers have come at home--small sample size, maybe?--but he’s looking to stem the tide this week against the Browns, just the fourth home game of 2012 for the Cowboys.

“I don’t know. We haven’t had ... I mean, how many games have we had at home? Three?” Romo said this week, per ESPN Dallas. “We’ll see as the season continues to progress. I think we’re going to be better than the last two. I’m guessing, though.”
