Romo: Cowboys Will Be “Pretty Good This Year”

Tony Romo is feeling pretty confident going into 2013

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is feeling pretty confident going into the 2013 season.

Back in his hometown of Burlington, Wisconsin this week to host the ninth edition of his football camp, Romo told reporters that he was playing less golf these days, excited about facing the Green Bay Packers, and generally excited about the season to come.

We’re going to be pretty good this year,” Romo said, per the Dallas Morning News. “This is one of the most complete teams that I’ve been around. It’s going to be a very enjoyable football season.”

Romo isn’t the only one feeling good about the team going into training camp, which opens on July 25 in Oxnard, CA. Both tight end Jason Witten and executive vice president Stephen Jones have made reference to a Super Bowl run in the past couple weeks.

Lofty? Sure. But we’d rather those guys be talking Super Bowl in June rather than dismissing the idea altogether.
