Rolando McClain Nursing Groin Injury

McClain was held out of practice on Wednesday

Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain, who has led the team in tackles in each of their first two games, was held out of practice on Wednesday with a groin issue. It was the first practice of the week for Dallas.

Rolando McClain with his groin, he didn’t participate in the walk-through,” head coach Jason Garrett told the team’s official website.

McClain isn’t the only linebacker hurting at the moment. Justin Durant is also dealing with a groin injury. Garrett said the team is approaching the status of both linebackers in the same way.

“Both groin injuries, we’ll take them day by day,” Garrett said. “[Durant] did not practice today and did not participate in walk through.”
