Robinson Looking To Make An Impact

It was an injury that got veteran receiver Laurent Robinson cut from the Dallas Cowboys less than a week after he signed with the team, and it was a pair injuries that precipitated his quick return.

Robinson suffered a strained hamstring before being released on September 13; somewhat ironically, he was brought back into the fold on Tuesday, thanks in no small part to a hamstring injury suffered by Miles Austin last week, and a quad injury suffered by Dez Bryant in week one. The status of both receivers for Monday night’s match-up with Washington is up in the air, leaving Robinson, Kevin Ogletree and the week two hero, Jesse Holley, as the team’s only healthy receivers at the moment.

Now back with Dallas and healthy, Robinson is looking forward to making the most of whatever opportunities he’s given to make a difference on Monday.

"Yeah, I feel good," Robinson said, per ESPN Dallas. "I'm picking up the offense pretty quickly. It's just little things like terminology and stuff that I have to pick up on."
