All the fans who wanted Tony Romo to give up his offseason golf schedule got their wish this year when Romo said he had stopped playing as his back heals from back surgery. We’d imagine they’ll be less thrilled to learn, from TMZ of all places, that Romo has picked up another sport that isn’t football.
The video on TMZ shows Romo playing indoor soccer and, according to the article, participating in a 6-on-6 league of which he’s been a part for a couple years now.
The good news is that the Dallas signal caller looks to be moving well on the turf, which goes in line with the steady flow of reports out of Valley Ranch saying Romo will be ready for training camp later this month.
