Report: Montrae Holland Could Miss Rest Of Season With Torn Bicep

Holland suffered the injury in the loss to the Eagles

It appears that if the Cowboys are going to defeat the Giants to win the division and earn a playoff berth, they’ll have to do so without the services of guard Montrae Holland.

Holland reportedly suffered a partially torn right bicep in the team’s loss to the Eagles on Christmas Eve. He will undergo an MRI today, but according to early reports, Holland is finished for not only the crucial match-up with the Giants, but the playoffs as well, should Dallas win Sunday night.

Kevin Kowalski replaced Holland in the game against the Eagles, but according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys will go to veteran Derrick Dockery in the match-up with the Giants.

Prior to the injury, Holland had started 10 consecutive games at left guard.
