Report: Joe DeCamillis Out Of Running For Bears HC Job

DeCamillis has served as Dallas' special teams coordinator for the past four seasons

Cowboys special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis is reportedly out of the running for the Chicago Bears head coaching job left vacant by Lovie Smith.

DeCamillis was one of a number of named candidates for the job, but according to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, that list is down to three--Colts’ offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, who led Indianapolis to a 9-3 record this year as the interim head coach, Seahawks’ offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Marc Trestman, the head coach of the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes.

DeCamillis has served as the Cowboys’ special teams coordinator for the past four seasons. Prior to that, he coached the special teams units of the Broncos, Giants, Falcons and Jaguars.
