Report: Hall of Famer Charles Haley Met with Hardy on Wednesday

Greg Hardy has stayed in the news all week as a result of his sideline blowup against the Giants

Just about everyone in America has seen and formed an opinion about Greg Hardy’s sideline tirade late in the Cowboys’ 27-20 loss to the Giants, and Hall of Fame Charles Haley is no exception.

According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, the newly minted Hall of Famer Haley was at Valley Ranch on Wednesday to meet with Hardy about the incident. The once and the current most menacing member of the Cowboys’ defensive line spoke behind closed doors for around 20 minutes.

What’s more, Haley wasn’t summoned, but came to Valley Ranch to speak with Hardy of his own volition. The two know each other, as Haley has become a familiar face at team headquarters in recent years, working with not only Hardy, but DeMarcus Lawrence, Randy Gregory and others.

Just what did Haley tell Hardy?

Well, that part we don’t know. Hardy didn’t speak to the media on Wednesday.
