The Philadelphia Eagles have wrapped up their search for a new head coach.

Although it’s unclear when it will become official, the Eagles will reportedly hire Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Doug Pederson as the 23rd head coach in franchise history, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Phil Sheridan. Of course, the holdup could be a result of Pederson’s current team still being in the playoffs—the Chiefs play the Patriots on Saturday.

"We have concluded our search for a head coach,” an Eagles spokesman told ESPN on Thursday. “No further interviews are scheduled."

Pederson has spent the past three seasons as Andy Reid’s offensive coordinator with the Chiefs and, before that, four years with the Eagles, two as an offensive quality control assistant and two as the quarterbacks coach.
