Report: Cowboys Visit Wisconsin C Peter Konz

Konz is projected as a late-first round pick

It appears that the Dallas Cowboys may still target the interior of the offensive line in the upcoming draft, despite having spent upwards of $30 million on the area in free agency on guards Mackenzy Bernadeau and Nate Livings.

ESPN Dallas reported last week that the Cowboys attended the workout of Wisconsin center Peter Konz, a projected first round pick.

Dallas has also shown interest in Konz’s teammate, guard Kevin Zeitler. Mel Kiper actually had Dallas taking Zeitler in the second round of his latest mock draft, after selecting Alabama safety Mark Barron in the first.

The Cowboys have been renovating the inside of the offensive line since last offseason, when they parted ways with Pro Bowlers Andre Gurode and Leonard Davis. The team then released veteran guard Kyle Kosier earlier in the year.
