Report: Cowboys One of a Few Teams Looking at S Michael Huff

Huff was released by the Raiders just before the start of free agency

A handful of teams are interested in recently-released Raiders’ safety and University of Texas product Michael Huff, and the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly one of them.

Huff was released by Oakland just before the NFL’s free agency period began and, now, Dallas has taken an interest in him--along with the Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers and the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Baltimore Ravens.

Set to embark on his eighth season in the NFL, Huff recorded 56 tackles, two interceptions and 13 passes defended in 2013, while splitting time between safety and cornerback. He was drafted by Oakland seventh overall back in 2006.

Dallas has a clear need at safety after they released veteran Gerald Sensabaugh in a cost-cutting move two weeks ago.
