Report: Adams To Visit Steelers

Jordan Woy, the agent representing former Cowboys' tackle Flozell Adams, has told ESPNDallas.com's Calvin Watkins that his client will soon visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Adams has been a free agent since April 2, when the team abruptly released him, and safety Ken Hamlin. Hamlin signed with the Baltimore Ravens last week. Adams--after reportedly drawing interest from Washington--may now have found a suitor in the 2008 Super Bowl champion Steelers, who lost right tackle Willie Colon indefinitely with an Achilles injury.

In the market for a tackle, the Steelers reportedly reached out to Adams' camp.

As pointed out by Watkins, Adams hasn't played right tackle since 1998, his rookie season.

But it seems that the change could suit Adams--a massive, strong tackle with increasingly questionable foot-speed--well. 2010 will be the 35-year-old Adams' 13th in the league. Prior to his aforementioned release, he was the longest-tenured Cowboy on the roster.
