Who needs Rangers’ Opening Day when you’ve got … pre-season football?

    A Cowboys’ schedule, at least.

While their Arlington hardball neighbors meander into their season, the football team’s 2015 is also beginning to take shape. We know who the Cowboys will play in the exhibition season, just not exactly when.

The NFL regular-season schedule should be announced within a week or so. Until then, let’s whet our appetite on some pre-season matchups:

Game 1: at San Diego, Aug. 13-17

Game 2: at San Francisco, Aug. 20-14

Game 3: vs. Minnesota, Aug. 27-30

Game 4: vs. Houston, Sept. 3-4

By the time the Cowboys crank up their practice games in four months, baseball’s long season will still have two months remaining.
