Praise For Mark Barron Keeps Rolling In

Alabama safety Mark Barron seems to be on the short list of candidates for the Cowboys' first round pick

Alabama safety Mark Barron seems to be on the short list of candidates for the Dallas Cowboys’ first round pick, and as we inch closer to Draft Day, the praise for Barron just keeps rolling in.

ESPN draft whiz Todd McShay has long sung the praises of Barron, and now, in this season of picking a prospect’s game apart, McShay isn’t backing away from any of his comments.

I don’t see many weaknesses,” McShay said of Barron recently, per the San Antonio Express-News.

For some time popular thought had Dallas either selecting Barron or his teammate, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick in the first round; but since their free agent windfall, some believe the team could go after a pass rusher to match up opposite DeMarcus Ware--and as it happens, this group includes another Alabama defender, outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw.
