In an ongoing thread of posts, we'll discuss potential free agent targets for the Dallas Cowboys coming off a 4-12 season, thanks in large part to several key injuries.

    Target: Prince Amukamara, CB
2015 stats: 63 tackles, one interception, 10 pass breakups

In the pantheon of free agent cornerbacks, the alpha dog is most definitely Carolina's Josh Norman, but after that, Amukamara might be the the top prize.

The New York Giants cornerback had three picks a year ago and while he only had one in 2015, that was still more than Brandon Carr and he also had more pass breakups than any Cowboys player. At age 26, he's still young and probably still has his best years ahead of him.

Aside from all that, signing Amukamara would also take away the best defensive back from a key division rival, so there's that.
