If you're looking for a superstar, this probably isn't it. But if you're looking for a solid veteran with a winning pedigree who could complement a linebacking corps of Sean Lee, Anthony Hitchens, Justin Durant and possibly Rolando McClain, or some combination of them, this could be a great free agent signing this spring.

Smith was the Super Bowl MVP when the Seahawks beat the Broncos last year, and he would come to town with that Seahawks defense mentality, which any defense not wearing the hawk on their helmet could probably benefit from.

Smith isn't big — just 6-0, 225 pounds — but he's blazing fast with his 4.4 40-yard dash, which could help the Cowboys get a bit of that glory years Cowboys defense back with lots and lots of speed roaming the field.
