If the Cowboys really want to make a splash on their defense, this would be the place to look.
Houston is arguably the league's top pass-rusher over the past few years with the exception of J.J. Watt. He's had 43 sacks over the past three seasons and would be a guy that would instantly make the Cowboys' pass rush a force to reckoned with. His 22 sacks in 2014 were just six sacks shy of the entire Cowboys roster.
The Cowboys struggled all season in 2014 to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and Houston would make them a much stronger unit. The Chiefs could always franchise Houston, but that would put them in quite a bind financially.
