Poll: Cowboys Are Most Loved (And Hated) NFL Team

One recent poll says Americans either love or hate the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are the most loved team in all of football. They’re also the most hated.

Per a Public Policy Polling survey, 12 percent of those polled named the Cowboys as their most loved NFL team, which ties the Green Bay Packers for the most love for any NFL team. A relatively huge 18 percent of people, however, named the Cowboys as the team they most hate, easily the greatest number of any team in the league.

For some perspective, the Chicago Bears came in as the second most hated team, but only 11 percent of those polled had any “hate” for them.

Meanwhile, 32 percent of those polled had a favorable opinion of “America’s Team,” while 37 percent had an unfavorable opinion.

This is revealing, but not all that surprising. Dallas seems to be the most polarizing team in the league, and Tony Romo might be the most polarizing quarterback this side of Tim Tebow.
