Place Your Bets: Super Bowl

If you live in Nevada, Oregon, Montana or Delaware, you're in luck. Otherwise, go to Canada or Europe, or those rogues in New Jersey and get your bet on for Super Bowl Sunday.

Denver vs. Seattle (+2.5) — This is a great matchup. Two great teams, who are great for vastly different reasons. Obviously, the Broncos have perhaps the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. The Seahawks have one of the best defenses in the league, and without question the best secondary in football. The weather was supposed to be a huge factor being the first outdoor Super Bowl in a cold-weather city in the modern era, but forecasts are showing highs in the upper 40s and lows in the low 30s with no precipitation. So, pretty much perfect. That's a good sign for the Broncos.

But the deciding factor here, in a game that really could go either way, is that Marshawn Lynch will have 100 yards and the Seahawks' defense will give Manning some trouble. With the line being so small, you pretty much just have to pick the winner. You could make a case for either team, but we're going to roll with the Seahawks, who've had two weeks to pick apart Denver's high-flying offense, and we're taking the Seahawks straight up. With 2.5 points, might a well forget about that.

Postseason record: 6-4. Regular season record: 38-42*
