DeMarco Murray carries the ball against Jacquian Williams of the New York Giants at Cowboys Stadium on December 11, 2011.
Sports Illustrated's Peter King says the Cowboys will win the NFC East with a record of 10-6. He also says the Cowboys will once again lose in the Wild Card round, this time to the Green Bay Packers.
King attributes most of the forecasted success to the health of running back DeMarco Murray and the upgrades at cornerback through the addition of Brandon Carr and No. 6 draft pick Morris Claiborne.
The prognosticator picked the defending Super Bowl Champion New York Giants to finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs. They Eagles are predicted to match the Giants' record and the RG3-led Redskins are in the cellar with a 6-10 record.
With the Cowboys as the fourth seed in the playoffs, King says the 49ers will be the first seed, the Bears the second seed and the Falcons the third seed. The Packers will be the fifth seed and the Saints the sixth.
King said the Sants will top the Falcons and and 49ers before losing to the Packers -- who will return to the Super Bowl to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
You'll have to read Sports Illustrated to see who King predicts will be headed to Disney World.
