The Opponent: The Redskins have emerged as the "cream" of the NFC East crop and clinched the division title last week with a dominant performance in Philadelphia. Kirk Cousins is playing extremely well and has cemented himself as the Redskins' quarterback of the present and future.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys are 66-43-2 all-time against their division rival, including wins in the last two meetings. Back on Dec. 7, they beat the Redskins, 19-16, on the road in what was Matt Cassel's only win as the Cowboys' starting quarterback.
Who's Hot: Kirk Cousins was fantastic on Saturday night, leading Washington a division-clinching 38-24 win over Philadelphia as he threw for 365 yards, four touchdowns and no picks. He was helped a lot by Jordan Reed, who caught nine balls for 129 yards and two touchdowns.
Darren McFadden was just one yard shy of his third straight 100-yard game, but he's about the lone bright spot for the Cowboys right now, at least offensively. Meanwhile, Sean Lee was in on 15 tackles with a half-sack and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence had his seventh sack in his last seven games.
Who's Not: Not a lot to say here about the Redskins. Their running game isn't running so hot right now, but some of that is simply because Cousins and the passing game is going so well. Alfred Morris was the featured back on Saturday night and carried the ball 17 times for just 49 yards.
Kellen Moore barely completed a third of his pass attempts and threw a pick as he failed to lead the Cowboys to a single touchdown. Jason Witten caught just one pass for 12 yards.
