The Opponent: The Eagles were physically beaten by Carolina two weeks ago and will be coming off a bye week as they head to DFW. At 3-4, the Eagles could fall into a tie with the Cowboys if they lose Sunday night, and more importantly the Cowboys would have a season sweep over the Eagles and hold the tiebreaker.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys are 64-49 all time against the Eagles, including four postseason games and one game earlier this year which the 20-10 in Philly despite losing Tony Romo to his broken clavicle.
Who's Hot: The Eagles' running backs are better now than they were in their previous meeting this season, when they were still trying to figure out how to use the league's reigning rushing champ in former Cowboy DeMarco Murray. He's been more effective, as of late, and Ryan Mathews has also been running the ball well.
The Cowboys' defense showed up in a big way on Sunday, holding the Seahawks to 13 points. A couple of notable performances came from DeMarcus Lawrence, Barry Church and Greg Hardy, who forced the unit's first turnover since their Week 2 win over these Eagles. Darren McFadden has performed admirably as the Cowboys new starter at running back.
Who's Not: Sam Bradford isn't working out too well as the Eagles' quarterback after they traded for him this offseason. He's just been ugly and last game was no different as he passed for 205 yards and a pick.
The Cowboys' passing game is pretty much non-existent. Matt Cassel took no chances on Sunday after throwing three picks in his debut two weeks ago, but in that game at least the Cowboys were able to find the end zone.
