The Opponent: The Giants are coming off an ugly loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, which prevented the Giants from holding first place in the weak NFC East all by themselves. The Giants' offense looked great in the beginning of the game but then faltered, thanks to a boat load of turnovers.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys have a 62-43-2 all-time record against the Giants, including a last-second, comeback win over the Giants to open the 2015 season in Arlington.
Who's Hot: There isn't much to talk about here for the Cowboys, other than the fact their defense showed some great signs in their last game against the Patriots before they simply wore down due to the offense's ineptitude. The Cowboys sacked Tom Brady five times in the first half, thanks to the debut of Greg Hardy. Now, they are set to get back Randy Gregory after injury, so look out, Eli Manning.
Odell Beckham Jr. showed no ill effects from his hamstring injury that made him a game-time decision, as he caught seven balls for 61 yards and the early touchdown.
Who's Not: The Cowboys' offense can't get any worse than it was in their last game, when they went three-and-out on five of their first six drives — never a winning recipe. Now, they get Matt Cassel at quarterback, who replaces Brandon Weeden, who wasn't terrible but gave the Cowboys very little chance to win. Cassel should be better and give them a better chance to move the ball like an NFL offense.
Eli Manning completed 24 passes for just 189 yards and a touchdown on their opening drive to Odell Beckham Jr. After that, he was awful. Manning threw two interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown.
