Nick Hayden Visiting Seahawks

Hayden started 47 of 48 games over the last three seasons with the Cowboys

Free agent defensive tackle Nick Hayden, who has spent the past three seasons as a starter with the Dallas Cowboys, is in Seattle visiting the Seahawks this week.

Hayden has started 47 of 48 regular season games for the Cowboys over the past three seasons and, according to Sheil Kapadia of ESPN, he could have a chance to compete for the starting nose tackle job if he winds up with the Seahawks.

Seattle lost veteran defensive tackle Brandon Mebane to the Chargers this offseason in free agency.

Hayden never recorded a sack in his three years in Dallas but he had 130 tackles, including 10 for a loss, three pass breakups and a forced fumble.

The Wisconsin product came into the league as a sixth round pick by the Panthers in 2008, and spent three years in Carolina. He also spent a season in Cincinnati, in 2011.
