Newman Returns To Practice, Expected To Play Sunday

Cornerback Terence Newman returned to practice on Friday for the first time after missing Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury. Newman suffered the injury early in Sunday’s 33-20 victory over the New York Giants, but eventually returned. He is expected to play in Sunday’s match-up with the Detroit Lions.

"He's gotten some work in the walkthroughs," interim head coach Jason Garrett said, per ESPN Dallas. "So he's familiar with the looks but we’ll see if he can move around today and see how he does."

Linebacker Bradie James and wide receiver Kevin Ogletree, both of whom had missed practice on Wednesday, returned to practice on Thursday, and cornerback Mike Jenkins, as well as defensive lineman Jason Hatcher returned from respective neck and groin injuries on Wednesday.
