NFLPA Thanks Fans In New Video

In a message that more or less boils down to, “thanks for not hating us after that lockout thing,” he NFLPA has released a video featuring a number of NFL payers thanking fans for their continued support through the longest work stoppage in league history. One of these players is the Dallas Cowboys Jason Witten, who leads off the video.

“I just want to say to all the fans, thank you so much for all your support, your patience during this process,” Witten says. “We’re excited for the season to start, and a great year. Thanks again.”

Witten is joined on the video by such other players as free agent linebacker Takeo Spikes, Bears’ kicker Robbie Gould and Saints’ tackle Jon Stinchcomb. All of them deliver a similar message--basically, some variation of “Hooray, the lockout’s over! Let’s play/watch football!”

Which, I think, we can all agree on.
