NFL Draft May Come to AT&T Stadium

The NFL Draft is taking its show on the road, and Arlington is a potential destination.

Next Spring’s event will be hosted by Chicago or Los Angeles but in 2016 several sites – including the Cowboys’ home, AT&T Stadium – have expressed an interest.

Cowboys’ vice president Stephen Jones is part of an NFL committee pondering the options of future NFL Draft sites. That group will meet for the first time this week and explore a rotating process for draft sites, much like the Super Bowl.

Having hosted a Final Four, Super Bowl and, soon, college football’s inaugural national championship game, AT&T Stadium is a no-brainer to be included in the rotation to host the NFL Draft.
