NFC East Watch: So What Do the Giants Do with JPP?

Jason Pierre-Paul is set to become a free agent next month

The New York Giants apparently want defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul back in 2016, but only if they can get him on their terms.

Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports that the team will look to get JPP back on a one-year “prove-it” deal but, if he can get more money and or more years elsewhere, he’ll probably be gone.

Last summer, Pierre-Paul seriously injured his right hand in a July 4 fireworks accident and, although he returned for eight games and recorded a sack, at times, he had visible difficulty using the injured hand, which he taped up like a club for game action.

It was the second time in three years Pierre-Paul missed more than six games due to injury, after playing in all 16 in each of his first three seasons in the league.
