The Dallas Cowboys seem to expect DeMarco Murray to be able to play on Sunday in a must-win game against the Colts, that game coming a less than a week after Murray underwent surgery to repair a broken hand suffered Sunday night.

There's something to be said for networking, as Murray has a contemporary in the league to reach out to for advice on playing so soon in Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy.

Lacy suffered the same injury and played the following two weeks in college as a star runner for Alabama. In those two games, the Iron Bowl against Auburn and the national championship game against Notre Dame, Lacy rushed for more than 400 yards.

Murray said he plans on talking to Lacy about protecting the hand, even though Murray already had the surgery.

"I'll probably talk to him here today and see what he did and things of that nature, see what information he can give me about it," Murray said. "I'm not overthinking it. I'm just going out there and trying to work hard today and do what I can."
