Murray Welcomes Randle

Dallas drafted Joseph Randle in the fifth round of this year's draft

Even as an Oklahoma Sooner, DeMarco Murray admits that he’s excited to work with Joseph Randle, an Oklahoma State Cowboy.

“He’s definitely a quality running back, coming from Oklahoma State, they’ve always been known for great running backs,” Murray said, per the Dallas Morning News. “I’m excited to bring him in the family and get after it a little bit and help him out as much as we can.”

Murray isn’t concerned with the idea that Randle’s presence could cut into his carries. Rather, after missing six games due to a foot injury a year ago, he just wants to be on the field again.

“Getting carries or catches doesn’t matter to me,” Murray said. “I just want to be on the field. I want to be on the field to help, whether I’m blocking, catching. Whatever I’m out there doing, just doing it at 100 percent and working hard.”
