Murray Says He Wants to be a Cowboy “Forever”

DeMarco Murray is entering his fourth season with the Cowboys

Running back DeMarco Murray wants to spend his entire career with the Dallas Cowboys.

"Forever," Murray said this week, per ESPN Dallas. "I love Dallas. I love playing football there. I love the fans. I love the organization. It's great. I want to stay there as long as they will allow me."

Murray is entering the final year of his rookie deal with the Cowboys and is due to make $1.406 million in 2014. Last season, his third in the league, Murray rushed for 1,121 yards--his first 1,000-yard season--and earned his first career Pro Bowl nod. Going through the Cowboys’ offseason program, he says he isn’t focused on his contract situation.

"I'm not worried about my contract," Murray said. "I'm going to let the cards unfold the way they unfold and continue to work hard like I always do."
