Murray Thanks O-Line with New Computers

DeMarco Murray is leading the NFL in rushing through seven games

It pays to block for DeMarco Murray.

After getting off to a historically hot start to the 2014 season behind a young, strong offensive line, Murray showed his gratitude this week by getting iMacs for each of the front five. Tyron Smith, Ronald Leary, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin and Doug Free found the $1,300 computers in their lockers when they arrived at Valley Ranch on Wednesday.

"Yeah, pretty nice," Martin said, per Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas. "We just walked in and he gave it to us. It's pretty cool."

As you’ve probably heard, Murray is flourishing behind the rebuilt line. Last week, he became the first player in NFL history to open a season with 100-plus rushing yards in each of his team’s first seven games, and he currently leads the NFL in rushing yards and carries.

"It's really a collective team effort which is the coolest thing," Martin said. "DeMarco is the guy with the numbers and all that and doing a lot of the work. Up front, tight end, receivers, quarterbacking us in the right looks, it’s really a full team effort."
