DeMarco Murray Feeling Good

DeMarco Murray missed much of OTAs with a tweaked hamstring

After missing most of OTAs with a hamstring issue, Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is back and participating fully in this week’s veteran mini-camp.

I definitely feel like I’m back to where I need to be,” Murray said this week, per the Dallas Morning News. “But it’s still early. I’m excited to continue to work hard and get to training camp.”

Considering he missed nine games over his first two seasons in the league, it’s understandable that Cowboys coaches have expressed a desire to see Murray absorb less contact in 2013 and beyond, but Murray has said he doesn’t plan on changing his running style.

“I can’t go out there thinking too much and getting a couple of the same things drilled in my head,” Murray explained. “I’ve got to go out there and make plays. That’s it.”
