Murray, Cowboys Feeling Fresh After Bye

DeMarco Murray got some much needed rest during the bye week

Coming off the bye week, the Dallas Cowboys are about as healthy as they’ve been all season.

Cornerback Tyler Patmon’s sprained MCL stands out as the only significant injury on the roster, not counting the two small fractures in Tony Romo’s back, which he will play through. Patmon and Romo were the only two Cowboys to miss practice on Wednesday, but of course, that’s standard operating procedure for Romo at this point.

To be sure the bye was a much needed break not only for Romo, but for DeMarco Murray, the NFL’s leader in carries.

“It’s awesome to get your players back and get your body feeling great and fresh,” Murray said, per ESPN Dallas. “Ready to go back to work for sure.”
