Mo Claiborne Will Look To Learn From Rough Day In Philly

Claiborne committed five penalties in Sunday's 38-23 win over the Eagles

Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne hopes that a rough day in Philadelphia on Sunday will serve as a teachable moment as he continues down the homestretch of his rookie season in the NFL.

Claiborne allowed a touchdown on the opening drive of the 38-23 Cowboy victory, but to be fair, it came on an impressive, one-handed circus catch by Eagles receiver Riley Cooper. More alarming than the touchdown was the five penalties committed by Claiborne--two offsides and three defensive holding calls--which is four more penalties than he had in his entire final season of college ball at LSU in 2011.

"I think that I had a rough game out there and did not play my best," Claiborne said, per ESPN Dallas. "I got a lot of penalties called on me and I just have to learn from that. I just need to go back and get it fixed."
