Mo Claiborne Says He'll Play Vs. Eagles

Morris Claiborne has missed six of the last seven games with a hamstring injury

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne practiced on Wednesday and told reporters afterward that he will play against the Eagles on Sunday.

Everything was good,” Claiborne said of Wednesday’s practice session, per the Dallas Morning News. “Felt good. Participated in everything. Went through all drills. Wasn’t limited at all.”

Claiborne has missed six games this season with a hamstring injury. Through the nine games he’s participated in, he has 24 tackles, an interception, six passes defensed and a fumble recovery.

“He’s just a good player, period,” defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin said of Claiborne, “whether we play man, zone or whatever. [We] can’t play man to man all day long. You have to mix your coverages and [Claiborne] just being on the field helps.”
