McBriar Back At Practice, Splitting Reps

Pro Bowl punter Mat McBriar was back at practice on Wednesday, after being forced to miss the second half of Sunday’s 34-7 loss to the Eagles; but, according to Tim MacMahon at ESPN Dallas, he split reps with recently signed back-up plan Chris Jones.

McBriar has been dealing with some sort of nerve issue in his left (plant) leg and foot, and is somewhat of a question mark going into this weekend’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Rookie kicker Dan Bailey took over on punts in the second half against Philly, after McBriar had left.

Linebacker Sean Lee (wrist), running back Felix Jones and cornerback Mike Jenkins (hamstring) were all held out of the workout on Wednesday. Veteran right guard Kyle Kosier warmed up with the team, but was held out of team drills as he deals with a partially torn plantar fascia.
