Cowboys' tight end Martellus Bennett's maturity has been brought into question more than a couple times in the past, and his latest YouTube offering will likely ensure that this trend doesn't end just yet.
Bennett is seen in the video wearing a large, fake beard a la "Oh, Brother Where Art Thou" parading about what looks like a tattoo studio exclaiming that he is Osama Bin Laden--or, as the screen reads, "Osama Bin Happenin."
While it may be in poor taste, it's obvious that Bennett wasn't being purposefully incendiary with the clip, which is described by Bennett himself on the site as follows: "Marty B wears a bin laden beard and acts stupid lol....."
However, that Bennett could post such a clip on YouTube--on Independence Day--without realizing that it might ruffle some feathers will likely send the oldest and most consistent criticism of Bennett--that he just doesn't get it--back into motion.
Of course, Bennett was fined for his now-infamous "Black Olympics" video last year, and has been reprimanded by the team for the content of some of his rap songs. Last season, Bennett's focus was questioned publicly by Jerry Jones, and many see the 2010 season as a make-or-break one for the Texas A&M product.
