Laurent Robinson Happy To Be “Wearing the Star”

Robinson said recently that he'd like to remain a Cowboy for the rest of his career

Laurent Robinson is enjoying his stay in Dallas thus far, and it’s not difficult to see why.

Robinson has 38 catches for 554 yards and seven touchdowns on the year, each of the seven coming over the past five games--and he hasn’t gone a game without a touchdown grab since October 23. Which is to say, after arriving in September, he’s developed quite the rapport with Tony Romo.

After stops in Atlanta and St. Louis, and a training camp this year with San Diego, Robinson is happy to have found a home in Dallas, and he hopes that it stays this way.

“I would love to be wearing the star the rest of my career,” Robinson said, per ESPN Dallas. “I love everything about Dallas, my teammates. The stadium is out of control. That’s why you see me smiling every time I catch the ball. I just feel like this changed my whole career around. I’m just loving it here. I would love to stay a Cowboy, but we’ll see. I’m just going to try to keep getting better every week and see what happens later.”
