Lake Highlands Product Drawing Interest From Cowboys

Many kids growing up around the DFW area dream of some day wearing a star on the side of their helmet as a member of the hometown Dallas Cowboys; for one Lake Highlands product, this dream could become a reality with this week’s NFL Draft, set to commence in New York on Thursday.

Rodney Bradley, a receiver and an alum of Lake Highlands High School, Navarro Junior College and, most recently, Hawaii is projected as a late round pick or an undrafted free agent signing--the latter of which, of course, can’t happen until the lockout ends.

Bradley caught 48 passes for 588 yards and a touchdown in his senior season at Hawaii and, apparently, was good enough to draw some interest from Valley Ranch.

According to Bradley, he has worked out for the Cowboys and has met with the team a few times.
