Justin Durant Feeling Good After Returning to Practice

Durant missed the last two games with a groin injury

Cowboys linebacker and defensive captain Justin Durant participated in practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a groin injury two weeks ago, and was encouraged by how he felt.

"I felt good," Durant said, per ESPN Dallas. "I felt real good."

Durant recorded eight sacks in the season opening loss to the 49ers, but was held out of the team’s wins over the Titans and the Rams. Ever since training camp, the Cowboys have moved Durant back and forth between the weak side and the middle. He’ll most likely play on the weak side in Sunday night’s matchup with the Saints.

"It’s not hard, you just have to know where you're playing when you go out there," Durant said. "We all know, when we're all in the room, he got this and I got this. You just have to remember when you get out there what position you're playing."
