Johnny Football Meets with Cowboys

Johnny Manziel's playing style has been compared to that of Tony Romo

Look, the Dallas Cowboys are not going to draft Johnny Football. But they will meet with him, and apparently, Jason Garrett is quite a fan.

"He's a great football player and someone I admire a great deal," Garrett said, per ESPN Dallas. "If you're a fan of football and you watch Texas A&M play, he's something else. He's done an amazing job in a short period of time during his career for that program. He's really fun to watch.

"I think with all young players, particularly at that position and studying the game and working hard at the game is really important and understanding those kind of work habits. If you look at the best players who ever played that position, they're the best workers in that building. That made them great leaders. And that made them great players.

"So I would give that advice to anybody. And certainly everybody is excited to see where he goes and what he does because he is such a great football player.”

Manziel’s connection to the Cowboys is this: He’s attended some games and some scouts have likened his style of play to Tony Romo.
