Jimmy Johnson, the man who led the Dallas Cowboys to two Super Bowl championships in the early 1990s, believes the 2013 edition of the team will win the NFC East division crown.
“You heard it here first,” Johnson said, via the Dallas Morning News. “The Cowboys will win the NFC East. But for Cowboys fans to be happy they gotta have success in the playoffs.”
The bad news is that Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino doesn’t think Dallas will do much in the playoffs, if Johnson is right and they do win the NFC East this year.
“I have serious doubts when (the Cowboys) get in the playoffs (against good teams) they’ll be able to go very far because of their defense,” Marino said.
