Jerry Voted To Hall of Fame

"I'll keep it short and sweet. Family, religion, friendship. These are the three demons you must slay if you wish to succeed in business."--Mr. Burns

It was announced today that Jerry Jones, the owner/GM of the Dallas Cowboys and resident Mr. Burns, will be inducted into the  Arkansas business Hall of Fame, as a member of their 2010 class.

According to the release, published in today's Dallas Morning News, the announcement came from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas this morning; Jones will join William Clark, founder of CDI Contractors, which is based in Little Rock, Jim Lindsey, a Fayettville-based real estate developer, and Thomas May, of Simmons First National Bank in Pine Bluff as inductees next year.

Yes, I've never heard of them either.

Jones, of course, made a fortune in oil while operating his business, Jones Oil & Land Lease, out of Arkansas. He bought the Cowboys in 1989, but the company remains active in oil prospecting and, possibly, attempts at world domination.
