Jerry Jones Wants to Bring the NFL Draft to North Texas

The draft has been held in Chicago the past two years

We would imagine ever since the NFL moved the NFL Draft from New York City, where it had been held every year since 1965, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been working to figure out a way to bring that event to his billion dollar stadium in Arlington.

But he hasn’t pulled it off yet.

The past two years now, the draft has been held in Chicago. But the host city for 2017 hasn’t been decided, which only fuels Jones’s hope that the NFL will bring the event to AT&T Stadium sooner than later.

With what we're doing and have done with our great stadium," Jones told Shan & RJ on 105.3-FM The Fan, via the Dallas Morning News, "and then with what we're doing with Arlington and then what we're doing out at The Star in Frisco, we've got a chance to put quite a show on for that draft, and we'd like the opportunity, quick.”
