Jerry Jones Feels Sense of Urgency

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones feels a sense of urgency. He says his team has got to do better and be tougher.

In his opening news conference Sunday, a day before the first full squad workout in California, Jones said there were great challenges in a strong division. But he believes the Cowboys and their resolve are strong.

When the team arrived Saturday, veteran tight end Jason Witten said it can't be the same old story for the Cowboys. They were 8-8 last season and have won only one playoff game in the past 15 years.

Jones says such talk is a reminder to him of the glory days early in his ownership, when the Cowboys won three Super Bowl titles over a four-year period in the 1990s.
