Jerry: Dallas is Improved, “No Question in my Mind”

Jerry Jones is pleased with where the Cowboys are now as compared to a year ago

Cowboys owner and general manager is planning on holding a press conference from Oxnard, CA on Saturday, so on Thursday at a youth football camp at Cowboys Stadium, he didn’t want to do too much talking. But he did allow that he’s feeling confident in the moves that have been made this offseason.

I think we’ve taken steps to improve our team,” Jones told reporters, per the Dallas Morning News. “We are a better team, there’s no question in my mind, than we were at this same time last year.”

Jones being Jones, of course, he couldn’t help but utter the words “Super Bowl” when discussing the direction of the team. That’s kind of Jones’ thing, after all. But at least this time, he mentioned a potential championship in a less-than-serious manner, which we suppose is an improvement.

“I think we’ve taken some steps to go to the Super Bowl,” Jones laughed. “If you want to do me a favor, don’t put that last thing in there.”
