Jay Ratliff Returns, DeMarco Murray Held Out

Murray returned to the lineup last week after missing six games with a foot injury

Just three days after returning and making an immediate impact in the Cowboys’ offense, starting running back DeMarco Murray was held out of practice on Wednesday. Murray had missed six games with a foot injury before returning in the victory over the struggling Philadelphia Eagles.

In brighter news, nose tackle Jay Ratliff returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time in two weeks. Ratliff went down in the win over the Cleveland Browns with a strained groin.

He’s making progress,” said head coach Jason Garrett today, per the Dallas Morning News. “I think he’s feeling better.”

Ratliff has 10 tackles on the year, one for a loss and a pass defended.
