Jason Hatcher Misses Practice

In an earlier post today, we said that the Cowboys are nearing full health following a restful but productive bye week--as we’ve seen from subsequent reports, “nearing” is the operative word here, as several Cowboys remain limited by injury.

The biggest name on this list is defensive end Jason Hatcher, who missed most of the Lions game with a strained calf. Hatcher was not seen at practice at Valley Ranch on Monday.

Others who were held out of practice, per Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News, include fullback Tony Fiammetta (hamstring), safety Danny McCray (ankle), kicker David Buehler (groin) and guard Derrick Dockery (fractured tibia/MCL sprain).

Gerald Sensabaugh, who suffered a concussion against the Lions, and Barry Church, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury of late, were seen today doing special teams work.

At 2-2, the suddenly healthier Cowboys will face the Patriots this Sunday to kick off the post-bye portion of their schedule.
