Jason Hatcher Hoping Peyton Manning Doesn't Join NFC East

If healthy, Hatcher tweeted this week, Manning will make his new team instantly better

When reports began to surface yesterday saying that Peyton Manning had no interest in joining the Washington Redskins--this in response to reports that the Redskins were very interested in Manning--we took it as a good sign for the Cowboys. After all, Dallas has struggled enough as of late with just one Manning in the division.

Apparently, we’re not the only ones who have had this thought--not the first, either.

Back on Wednesday, just after Manning was released by the Indianapolis Colts and well before the Redskins were reportedly eliminated from the Manning sweepstakes, Cowboys’ defensive end Jason Hatcher tweeted his thoughts on Manning’s next destination. Namely, he hoped it wouldn’t be the NFC East.

"I hope Peyton Manning don't land in our division,” Hatcher wrote, per the Dallas Morning News. “If he's healthy. Wherever he goes that team instantly gets better.''
